Pale skinned, brown hair with an identifiable look of her brown 'on the go' outfit. The young Keeper never sits in one place for too long. Always wanting to be on the move and always wanting to be in the next big adventure of her life, Chocola Kashou as she calls herself marches forward with the guts of a warrior and the wonder of a child.Always refering to herself in the third person, she's as erratic as she is nice. Odd as she is blunt and energetic as she is patient. A walking dichotomy of emotions and decisions, but always ready to punch, slice, cleave and tear with a smile on her face. From what she shows, her legs are scarred beyond what is normal, not hiding them under a glamour no more. Those scars are her personal reminder that she deemed won't be hidden from the world no longer.

Born in the desert of Thanalan, Yoco Taukkhuki X was a ball of enery from the moment she came into the world kicking and screaming. The first born to her mother of the same name, Yoco Taukkhuki IX. She grew up living the nomad life from birth, moving across the sands, ever in motion like the ground her tribe tread upon.As a young girl, she was energetic, flighty and very selective to what she paid attention to. Only choosing to learn what she found herself interesting, letting whatever else her mother taught her to enter and exit her mind at the same time.It was rare for the Keeper to see the city, but when she was able to, she was awestruck by the size, Ul'dah captivated her and when roaming the markets when her mother needed to purchase supplies. She knew what she wanted then after she left the city. She wanted to wander the world. It was on her sixteenth birthday, she packed up some clothes in a bag, said good bye to her mother, father and three siblings and left the nomad tribe and she has been wandering ever since. With Menphina watching her steps and the wind blowing her good favor. She is hard to keep in one spot and has many stories to tell and she is most definitely more than willing to share them. All one need do is ask.

One of her many stories is when she was seventeen, she had hid inside of a barrel on the docks of Limsa Lominsa to stow away onto what she assumed was a ship readying to head out to the eastern lands. Instead, she fell asleep and awoke hours later on the deck of a corsair ship. She popped out of the barrel and was greeted by a real unique crew of different people all wondering why there was this Miqo'te teen hiding in a barrel.Luckily for her, instead of being tossed overboard with the barrel. The person she'd come to know as her best friend stepped in and gave enough time for the Captain of the ship to come out and see what was going on.From then, he saw the young teen sitting on the edge of the barrel, the top cover in her arm as she looked to the man. He just shook his head and barked out orders to go about their business. With the crew dispersing as he rubbed his head, Chocola gave him a simple wave as he told her to get up in the crows nest. From there, she found out how lucky again she was with this ship when they didn't have a proper lookout since an attack that made them dock at the port for repairs, losing the last man to be up there to a cannonball. Two years she spent at sea and two years she grew to be compatriots with everyone on the crew, making friends all around the ship. Two years of swashbuckling, fighting, looting and ship sinking as corsairs. It was then she grew to love the salty sea as much as the salty desert, taking it in as the crew made way on the open waters. It was during a routine supply run, docked at Limsa once more. Chocola was approached by the captain once more. He told her to go wander the land for she was not meant for the sea. In her core, she knew it to be true, she didn't want to go, but in the end she did. Pushed on by her captain and given a shiny rock as a parting gift. She packed up her things and began her travels once more. Nineteen years old, her corsair days finished.

Roleplay Hooks

• If you're a Keeper who believes in Menphina, you may have heard about a rather large group of Keepers who are devout followers of the Goddess, unusual considering Keeper solidarity.• Dalmascan are ya? Well, Choc may have been born in the deserts of Eorzea, but she's a Dalmascan at heart though her situation as one is unique compared to other refugee families. Either way, she's willing to lend an ear to a countryman from across the sea and offer a helping hand.• A fellow hunter like her? Maybe seen her punch down a beast. Not many Miqo'te go brown on brown like she does. She stands out when she wants to stand out, which is always.• Ya like cards? Ya like poker? Well this is your cat. She's a dealer by trade and knows how to run games. Talk to her about it, she'll give you a rundown and maybe convince you to join for a game or two.• If you sailed the seas about some two to four years ago with Limsa as your home port for the most part, you might've seen this Keeper from atop the crow's nest or climbing around the ship she worked on during that time. Don't be afraid to ask, she may be a wanderer, but her sailing days never left her.• Yes, she has a melon following her... What of it? She got it for free from a man in Ul'dah. It's neat.

American PST, catch me on Mateus, I'll be around.Been Role-playing for a number of years now and I've developed a quick fire style of RP for Choc so if you need me to slow down, just let me know and I'll chop the pace up.I'm easy going enough and I like to have a good chat and good RP when it pops up, so don't be afraid to just walk up and say 'hi' to Choc.Just make sure it's the usual things like proper RP conduct and all that.RP is a two person dance that can grow to bigger groups, so let's all be nice and keep it fair and have fun.

Those Who Watch...

Menphina: Goddess of the Moon, love, and... If you ask Chocola. Frying pans.Under the sun and heat of Dalmasca was the underground temple barracks of a warrior sect of Keepers who train in her name and pray for her guidance. These are the Watchers of the Moonlit Path. For generation after generation. Totaling seven hundred odd turns of the heavens. The Taukkhuki clan always led their kinfolk that put their trust in them, their faith in Menphina. Ever since the first Yoco Taukkhuki made the great journey from the west, out of the forests of The Shroud to the unrelenting sands of Dalmasca. From their home, they built under the sands to find relief from the unrelenting sun. From there, they did their work. Many connections to the Fists of Rhalgr can be made. It's disciplined and in service to their patron, but not limited to one way of fighting and their worship falls not onto the Destroyer, but the Lover. Being Keepers, they more oft than not stayed under the cover of the dark, only going out as robed nomads to trade and purchase supplies, practicing their craft of hunting and dune walking at night, when eyes are pried away... And the underbelly showed. What the Watchers did in Dalmasca was do as much they can. Whether it be helping to disperse bandits during the night and hunt monsters and beasts that get too bold. They flew under the night of the moon, basking in it's light until the Garleans came and pushed out those who did not serve. The battle was fierce in their underground temple barracks. But there would never be enough Watchers to beat a legion. A small warrior sect, only fifty strong. Half, all warriors, stood their ground and blew up the underground supports that kept the sand from crushing the temple before. Their choice buried them in the sand and those who attacked the temple, letting the Head Archon and others to escape. The few women that don't fight, the lone elder who was the former head, children, and a handful of chosen retainers. From their, Yoco Taukkhuki the Ninth said farewell to their home, took the clan boat from a harbor town a few bells travel away and fled west.Time has passed and a new Head Archon stands with the Watchers. Yoco Taukkhuki the Tenth, under her alias, Chocola Kashou. Her mother had died in a battle with monsters and now her numbers dwindled to close to twenty, she has finally been able to give those Watchers a new home in Dalmasca once more. After being exiled, these Keepers of Menphina may now go back to their home, but for Chocola... For Yoco. Her time away isn't finished. She's set out to explore, to find more out of the world and to grow the Watcher's presence. For their time concealed under the moon is done. It's time for the Watchers to be seen so that the legacy they fought and died for, won't be forgotten.'And Choc'll be damned if this ends with Chocola! Choc hates bad endings.'
